Nichole’s wish is a simple one, to have her nails done one last time.
Oftentimes, it’s the little things that seem to lift one’s spirits the most when in a time of crisis.
As Nichole’s health has declined, she had a simple request that she shared with her daughter and caregiver- to get a manicure and pedicure. “Going to the salon has been the highlight of mom’s week for years. She says having a fresh coat of polish makes her feel like herself again. Mom loves to gab with all the other ladies about the latest happenings- its a social event for her,”said Amy, Nichole’s daughter.
Unfortunately, because of her condition, Nichole has been unable to physically go to a nail salon. Nichole’s wish is to have the salon come to her at the Covenant inpatient center.
Clifford’s Train Travels
Clifford wishes to travel by train to see family and the leaves of fall.
At only 57 years old, Clifford is facing the end of the his life. But rather than feeling down, he is looking forward to fulfilling a wish. Clifford wants to watch the leaves change color one more time, on a train trip from Mobile to where his family lives in Pittsburgh. With your help, we can send Clifford on this trip of a lifetime, filled with the beauty and wonder of nature and the warmth of family. Let’s send Clifford on his way.
Chuck’s Steak Dinner
Chuck wishes to have a special steak dinner with his wife.
Chuck always loved taking his wife out for romantic steak dinners on the town. But now that he is living in a facility, he is unable to take her to their favorite restaurants. We can give him the next best thing by catering in a steak dinner where he lives. With your help, we can provide the meal Chuck wants in a quiet, private room where he can visit with his wife. Elizabeth’s Trip North
Elizabeth wishes to fly to visit family in New Jersey.
In her final days, Elizabeth wishes to spend time with family up north in New Jersey. She can’t afford to cover her flight and other travel expenses – like gas and food – so she’s asking us to grant her wish to make her trip possible. At the end of life, no one should have to worry about being able to make memories with their loved ones.
