Agnes’ Dinner for Two
Agnes wished for a final romantic dinner with her beloved husband.
The best wishes aren’t always the biggest. Agnes and her husband have been married for over 34 years, and because of the latest news from the doctor, Agnes wished for a special date night with her husband. She hoped for an evening where they could just be husband and wife again, and they could put the medical concerns to the side for just one night. With your help, we ordered in food from her favorite restaurant, the Texas Roadhouse; and we were able to put together a lovely table, set with candles and a delicious steak dinner complete with a sweet dessert. But the sweetest part was seeing how much it meant to Agnes and her husband to share this glowing moment one last time.
Carol’s Warm Wish
Carol wishes to be warm and cozy during the holidays.
We all want to be warm and cozy – especially during the holidays. Carol loves watching her favorite movies, but she’s feeling a bit chilled. She saw a fireplace TV stand, and thought it was such a neat idea to keep warm while she watches her shows. It would make her room at the assisted living facility feel more like home. We would love to find a “fireplace” for Carol’s room … will you help?
Chris’ Christmas Surprise
Chris wishes to surprise his daughter with a new laptop.
Chris is a super selfless guy. He isn’t thinking of himself at Christmas – but of his beloved daughter. Chris’ wish is to surprise his daughter with a new laptop. She’s getting older, and she’s very keen to keep up with technology. Right now, she has to walk to the library to do her homework and research school reports. You can help us give Chris a laptop, so he can give his daughter the opportunity she needs to succeed.
