Dorma’s Day of Pampering
Dorma wished for a manicure and pedicure to lift her spirits.
Elizabeth has always made sure to look her best. Her wish is a wash, cut, and style of her hair.
Elizabeth had a bit of trouble coming up with a wish, but her sweet grandson thought a fresh haircut would help.
She has always taken pride in looking her best, and her hair has been no exception. Elizabeth loves the feeling of a new cut and style and could frequently be seen headed to the salon. Her family said, “she will be so thankful for what some people might take for granted, a simple haircut, without having to worry about how to get to and from a salon. Elizabeth is currently at an Inpatient Center, and with your donation, she can have a stylist come to her bedside.
Flowers for Frances
Frances would like flowers for her room at the Inpatient Center and a haircut to make her feel beautiful.
On any sunny afternoon, Frances could be found in the garden. She enjoyed being outdoors; watching butterflies flit from flower to flower in the springtime and the seasons changing in autumn.
Due to changes in her health, Frances now resides in an Inpatient Center and has been unable to enjoy the sunshine on a regular basis. Her wish is for some flowers to brighten her room and get her hair “done” like she use to do with friends.
Lorraine’s wish is to be pampered one final time. Frequently, it’s the little things that seem to lift one’s spirits in a time of crisis.
Always an independent person, Lorraine has recently felt isolated due to her inability to drive anymore because of her health.
Her children mentioned how much she enjoyed getting her hair done, and thought it might lift her spirits. When they discussed the idea with Lorraine, she loved the idea and said, “When you look good, you do feel good.” Lorraine’s oldest son Sean added, “My mother never really took much time for herself, she has always focused on helping my brothers and chasing after her grandkids. I know the opportunity to be pampered will lift her spirits.”
With your gift, you can help lift Lorraine’s spirits.
