Gerald’s Private Symphony
A musician his entire life, Gerald longed to hear live music one last time.
Gerald had loved music his whole life. He was a drummer in a jazz band, and his daughter played tunes by his favorite musician, Buddy Rich, the entire time he was in our care. Gerald liked listening to music on tape, but he really wanted to hear a live concert one more time. We partnered with the Pensacola Symphony Orchestra to send a classical violinist straight to Gerald’s room at the Covenant Care Sacred Heart Inpatient Center. Gerald’s family was present at the “concert” and they sat and listened to the beautiful melodies together which was an incredibly moving moment – a tribute to the power of music, and the power of granting a wish.

Our My Wish program exists to grant wishes like these – the simple things that make life better for our patients and their families. With your help, we can provide a new TV for Mary so she can get back to doing what she loves with her family.
Alice’s Beach Trip
Alice wants to enjoy one more Panama City Beach vacation with her family.
Alice counts her blessings every day. Among them are the memories she’s made in Panama City Beach, where she’s been fortunate to take her children and grandchildren every summer. Alice is hoping to enjoy one more visit to the beach with her beloved grandchildren. With your help, we can send Alice and her loved ones to stay on the beach in Panama City, so they can build sandcastles, cook memorable meals and soak up the sun together one last time. Life is just better at the beach.
Wilson’s Birthday Celebration
Wilson wishes to celebrate his birthday with a BBQ.
When Wilson throws a birthday party, he knows exactly what he wants. He’s wishing to celebrate with his entire family feasting on smoked Boston Butt, potato salad, coleslaw, beans, broccoli salad, rolls – and, of course, cake and ice cream. (Anything else, Wilson?) We’re happy to help … and hopeful you’ll help us give Wilson one more wonderful birthday. When it comes time to blow out the candles, we know he’ll wish the party would never end.
