Phillip’s Big Game
Phillip wished to attend one final high school football game.
Phillip had really missed going to the big game every Friday. It had been a long time since he was able to make it to the high school, so he made a wish to attend one last time. With your help, Covenant Care was able to coordinate his transport and make sure he was comfortable on the sidelines. During the game, Phillip was named honorary captain and was even rolled out onto the field to witness the coin toss in the rain. The players greeted him and gave him a signed football as a souvenir of his special night. Phillip isn’t able to speak many words, but he didn’t have to say anything for us to know how much the night meant to him.
Kelli’s Family Rodeo
Kelli wishes to take her family to their favorite rodeo in Louisiana, one final time.
There’s nothing more important to Kelli than family. She knows she doesn’t have much time left with her children, who mean the world to her. Kelli wants to make memories with her family at a rodeo in her hometown of West Feliciana Parish, Louisiana. Together, we can send Kelli and her crew to enjoy the food, music and rich culture of Louisiana. Please help us give Kelli the gas and food she needs to make the trip, as well as a hotel stay to enjoy the rodeo.
Grover’s Disney Trip
Grover wishes for a visit to Disney, the “Happiest Place on Earth.”
As a long-time cast member at Disney World, the park has always held a special place in Grover’s heart. He’s hoping to be able to visit one last time. Well, you know what happens “when you wish upon a star.” Help us make Grover’s dreams come true by granting him transportation, a hotel stay and a magical meal at Disney. It doesn’t matter how old you are … if you keep a sense of childhood wonder, you’ll find joy at every turn.
Betty’s New Bedroom
Betty is dreaming of sweet dreams – with a new nightgown and bedding set.
Betty keeps telling us how much she’d love to have a bright and flowery bedding set, complete with new fluffy pillows and a nightgown to match. When you’ve lived a good, long life, sometimes all you want is a bit of comfort in the end. A new floral comforter would do the trick to brighten Betty’s days (and nights). Let’s give Betty the bedding and pajamas of her sweet dreams, so she can rest easy.
