James’ Toy Collection
James wishes to add to his treasured collection of toy trucks.
James has quite the collection of toy cars and trucks. They fill his room at the assisted living facility. Everyone who stops by marvels at his tiny treasures, and he can tell you anything you would want to know about any of them. James’ wish is simple – just a few new toy vehicles would bring him great joy.
John’s wish is to enjoy the healing beauty of nature.
They say gardening is good for the soul. Ask some of the healthiest people on the planet their secret, and the answer is often the same – spending time among the flowers and the dirt. Of course, John already knows this to be true. All his life, he has loved to be outside, planting seeds and watching them grow. Now, John’s planters have begun to fall apart. Covenant Care has found a volunteer to help John build new raised beds for his garden – but we need your help to fill them. Please grant John’s wish to get back to what he loves best…a gift that will grow his garden, while lifting his spirits.
Mildred’s Night on the Town
Mildred dreams of a night out on the town.
Girls just want to have fun. Mildred wishes to enjoy a night on the town with her best gals. Her perfect night out would include a new outfit, hair and makeup, and reservations at a nice restaurant – where she can spend time with her girlfriends talking and laughing one last time. It’s been a long time since Mildred was able to dress up and hit the town. You can help us give her a night she won’t forget.
Peter’s Game Show Dreams
Peter dreams of taking part in his favorite TV game show.
Peter loves watching “The Price Is Right.” (In fact, he’s been watching since Bob Barker was the host.) He’s always dreamed of sitting in the audience and hearing the announcer say, “Peter…come on down!” Because he is not able to travel, Peter thinks it would be fun to bring the game to him. With your help, we can host our own version of “The Price Is Right” at Peter’s assisted living facility. Imagine his delight when he gets called to play. Please, give Peter the gift of fun.
