Charlotte, a Covenant Hospice Care patient, wishes to make one last powerful connection with her daughter. With your donation, you can help Charlotte’s daughter make a visit to see her mother.
Bruce’s Barber Shop Visit
With your donation you will be granting Bruce’s wish of visiting the barber shop one final time.
For most men growing up, it was common to visit a barber shop on the main street in your hometown. It was easy to be fascinated with all the barber stuff, the lively discussion and the uniqueness of a barber shop cut and shave. Now many years later, Bruce has a wish to experience a visit to the barber shop one last time – even if we have to bring the barber shop to him. With your gift, you can help make Bruce feel like a million bucks.
Nathaniel’s Naval Memories
Nathaniel wishes for some small items that remind him of his days proudly serving our country aboard the USS Neosho.
Memories create such vivid pictures in our minds and can take us back to times. For Nathaniel, those memories are of a young man proudly serving our country aboard the USS Neosho. At 80 years old, Nathaniel thinks often of his ship and the brave men who he served alongside. Pictures, names, sounds and smells bring memories flooding back, and a smile to Nathaniel’s face. Nathaniel’s wish is simple. He has requested a copy of the book The Ship that Wouldn’t Die: The Saga of the USS Neosho by Don Keith, along with a U.S. Navy hat and framed photograph of the USS Neosho.
